OMRI Listed FertilizersInternational Ag Labs has a number of OMRI Listed Fertilizers. We have 3 microbial inoculants (Seednique, Crescendo and Carouse) as well as a foliar spray (Dagger). SeedniqueSeednique is a very concentrated microbial package that's used at the rate of 1 oz. per acre. It's liquified in water and it can be used either to spray onto an acre's worth of seed, or it can be added into a side dress and put other nutrients, sugars, nutrates and things with that. It comes in a 64 oz. bucket which covers 64 acres. There're 2 buckets to a box, so 1 box would cover 128 acres. CrescendoSimilar to Seednique, but used at the rate of 1 lb. per acre. It's normally applied in a side dress which includes some sugar, some molases, some other products like RL-37, and used 2 inches off and 2 inches down from the seed. CarouseCarouse is a dry-applied product. It's got a kelp meal carrier, it's got a bacterial package on it. Normally that's used in dried blends and then it goes out dry. Carouse does not liquify. DaggerDagger is also OMRI listed. Dagger is a blend of neem and fish oils. It has an emulsifier included and is sprayed on the plants at the rate of 2 quarts per acre. It's mixed in with the water and then sprayed by itself. It's used for helping the plant to really get a good visual shineup, which improves the photosynthetic capacity of the plant. More importantly, it has the impact of repelling aphids from the soybean plant. Its impact on aphids is related to very good contact, therefore there must be adequate water, at least 32 oz. per acre with enough pressure to reach all the way to the bottom of the plant. We're recommending at least 60 lbs. of pressure on the sprayer. It's very important to maintain agitation in the water when using. If other things are added to Dagger, sometimes the emulsifier will quit working and then you'll have an awnry mess on top. So we recommend spraying that by itself. It's best to use collected rain water or reverse osmosis from the commercial RO unit. That will give the very best effect for the foliar spray. |
